Drake State Hosts Visitors From Soldier For Life Office

Lieutenant Colonel Vernon Lightner and Master Sergeant Jose Lopez from the U.S. Army’s Soldier for Life Office recently visited J.F. Drake State Technical College.
During their visit, they shared the mission of their office, as well as the Army’s goal to leverage technical education in the training of our soldiers and their families as they reintegrate into civilian life.
The Soldier for Life program enables Army, governmental, and community efforts to facilitate successful reintegration of soldiers, veterans, and their families and to instill their values, ethos, and leadership within communities.
