The Business Administration program was developed to prepare students for careers in accounting, business, and management. The accounting option is designed to teach, through a sequence of experiences, the skills necessary for a student to develop cognitive knowledge of the accounting process and to be able to apply this knowledge in a practical manner. The general business option is designed to prepare students for a variety of careers within business. The management option prepares students to hold supervisory and management positions. Overall, a Business Administration Degree prepares students for employment by providing learning experiences, in database management, spreadsheet management, word processing, skills in written and oral communications, and internet usage along with critical thinking and problem solving experiences.
