Huntsville, Ala. – Drake State Technical
College recently received four public relations awards during the
Alabama College System Public Relations Association (ACSPRA) conference
in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The ACSPRA Pyramid awards competition honors
the best public relations work among the Alabama Community College
System.
Pyramid entries were judged based on
planning, originality, creativity, and effectiveness. The judging was
conducted by an independent panel of media professionals.
Drake won the following awards during the
Pyramid Awards ceremony: first place-video advertisement/psa category,
first place-outdoor advertising category, third place-news placement,
and third-place-full color newsletter category.

Hester, APR, accepted the awards on behalf of the college.
