Drake State Technical College will join other members of the Alabama
Community College System to recognize April as Community College Month.
The Alabama State Board of Education approved a resolution during the
March 27 meeting to recognize April as National Community College Month.
On April 17, Governor Bob Riley, along with two-year college personnel
and members of the All-Alabama Academic Team, will sign the official
proclamation designating April as Community College Month.
Drake State will participate in the
celebration through a host of campus activities. The following community
college month activities are scheduled for April:

5, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Spring Fling-Thursday, April 17, 11
