The Cosmetology Program combines classroom theory with “hands-on” practice in the laboratory. The program is designed to provide qualified individuals the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, aptitude, and skills in the cosmetology field.

It seeks to satisfy the employment and educational needs of the business and industry community.
A graduate of the Salon Management program can become employed as a Barber, Cosmetologist, Manicurist, Color Technician, Make-Up Artist, Esthetician, Natural Hair Stylist, Platform Artist or Salon Owner depending on the program option selected. After gaining experience in a shop/salon environment, graduates could build enough clientele to one day open their own business. Other opportunities include teaching in a vocational educational setting or advancing to a sales representative
The median annual earnings are $ 11.97 per hour or $ 24,900 per year.
