  • Coordinate campus tours
  • Share information on dual enrollment, college entry, and college transfers
  • Provide current education and industry trend information

Adults

  • College and career planning assistance
  • Career change or displaced worker planning assistance and resources
  • Assessments: skills, interests, and confidence analysis
  • Effective KUDER or Naviance system use
  • Resume and interview preparation
  • Career cluster education
  • Identifying, setting goals and path to reach
  • Providing valuable job search tools, resources, and information
  • Provide current education and industry trend information
  • Research on careers, including skills, education, salary, and job expectations

School systems, employers, and resources agencies

  • Work with school systems on best ways to assist faculty, staff, and students with education and career planning
  • Represent Drake State at outreach events, such as career fairs and community events
  • Network with employers to forge partnerships that help fill employment gaps
  • Provide coaching services to employees, displaced workers, or resources agencies at no charge
  • Maintain current education and industry knowledge, especially within the local workforce
