Get the support you need at Drake State

It is the policy and practice of Drake State to ensure public accommodations and services, equal enjoyment of goods, facilities, privileges, and advantages to all individuals with disabilities. Please visit Counseling Services for more information on accommodations provided by the College.

Accommodations may be provided for the following, but are not limited to:

  • Deaf or Hearing Impaired
  • Visual
  • Learning Disabilities
  • ADD or ADHD
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Psychological Disorder
  • Health Condition or Mobility

You must be able to provide recently written documentation from a clinical professional familiar with the nature and extent of your disability. This will help the counselor to determine accommodations that will be most beneficial to you in an academic environment.
