Drake State Community & Technical College will offer buy-one-get-one-free classes to new students enrolling in select CTE programs for the spring 2021 semester.
New students enrolling in Heating & Cooling Technology (HVAC), Electrical Technology, Engineering Design and Machine Tool Technology are eligible to receive the Community Scholarship. The scholarship program will make some of the college’s programs more accessible to the community at a pivotal time for students and local industry.
“Our community needs Drake State’s programs now more than ever to help rebound from the economic effects of the pandemic,” said Dr. Pat Sims, President at Drake State. “There is an abundance of job opportunities in North Alabama, and we want to do what we can to connect as many as we can with good-incomes and sustainable careers.”
The BOGO Community Scholarship will pay tuition for up six credit hours not including fees. New students interested in the scholarship must:
